Operation at Power-On

To access these functions, the button indicated below must be pressed while turning on the printer.

Operation in the Default Setting Mode

When the printer is in the default setting mode, the panel buttons perform the functions shown below.

Performs a line feed if pressed momentarily.
S
Performs a form feed if held down continously.
S
Micro feeds backward, when the micro-adjust function is
enabled.
S
Advances continuous-feed paper to the tear-off position;
if pressed again, repositions the paper to top-of-form
(TOF).
S
Selects CSF bin 1 or CSF bin 2.

Function
Performs a self-test in NLQ mode.
Performs a self-test in draft mode.
Performs a data dump.
Clears the line counter (a value stored in the EEPROM,
used to indicate ribbon life).
Performs a bidirectional adjustment.
Activates the Mode 1 default setting function.
Activates the Mode 2 default setting function.
