Printhead Removal

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Remove the 2 CBS screws (M3 x 8) securing the printhead to the carriage assembly.
3. Disconnect the FFC from the printhead and remove the printhead.
Wait for five minutes after unplugging the printer before removing the printhead; it is very hot and
needs to cool down.
After replacing the printhead, perform the platen gap adjustment (see Chapter 4).
