Rear Paper Guide Removal

1. Remove the printer mechanism (see page 3-17).
2. Remove the platen (see page 3-15).
3. Remove the hexagon nut and the washer securing the adjust lever to the CR guide shaft, then remove
the lever. See Figure 3-21.
4. Remove the parallel adjustment bushing from the CR guide shaft (see page 3-28).
5. Remove the PG sensor (see page 3-24).
6. Remove the cable from the HP sensor.
7. Remove the 4 CBS (M3 × 8) screws securing the left frame of the printer mechanism, then remove
the left frame. See Figure 3-21.
8. Remove the printhead FFC from the rear frame of the printer mechanism.
9. Remove the 2 CBS (M3 × 8) screws securing the rear frame to the right frame.
10. Push the hook on the bottom of the rear paper guide, then slide the rear paper guide out from the rear
frame.
