If the Intense 3D 100 driver does not run, or no Vérité tab shows in
the Display Properties dialog, boot the computer into Windows 95 Safe
Mode. Then reinstall and configure the Intense 3D 100 driver as
instructed in Chapter 4, "Installing the Software."
If you cannot set the desired video display resolution, check the
Settings tab in the Display dialog to make sure the computer's monitor
selection is correct.
General Operation
If the computer's VGA performance is less than desirable, note that
Intense 3D 100's VGA compatibility does not assure outstanding VGA
performance. However, Intense 3D 100 provides incredible
performance in SVGA (VESA) mode. If your MS-DOS game can run
in SVGA (VESA) mode, configure it to do so to achieve maximum
performance with Intense 3D 100.
Gaming
The Setup programs for HellBender and Monster Truck overwrite
the Intense 3D 100 driver on the computer with incorrect versions.
After installing one of these games, reinstall the Intense 3D 100 driver
as instructed in Chapter 4, "Installing the Software." To verify the
installation of the Intense 3D 100 driver:
1. In the Control Panel, select Computer, Device Manager, and
Display Adapters.
2. Highlight Rendition Vérité 1000 PCI.
3. Select Properties, and then Driver (tab). The File Details should
show Provider: Rendition.
