If the resource conflict still exists, try the following:
1.
Shut down and turn off power to the computer.
2.
Remove any non-essential PCI, Industry Standard Architecture
(ISA), Extended ISA (EISA), and Video Electronics Standards
Association (VESA) adapter cards from the computer.
3.
Turn on power to the computer and reboot it into Windows 95.
4.
Install and configure the Intense 3D 100 driver as instructed in
Chapter 4, "Installing the Software."
5.
Shut down and turn off power to the computer.
6.
Reinstall one of previously removed adapter cards.
7.
Turn on power to the computer and reboot it into Windows 95.
8.
If the card causes a resource conflict, reboot the computer into
Windows 95 Safe Mode and continue.
If the card does not cause a resource conflict, the Intense 3D 100
board should work properly. If you have other adapter cards to
reinstall, go back to step 5.
9.
Select My Computer, Control Panel, System, Device Manager
(tab), Device Causing Conflict, and Remove.
10. Reboot the computer into Windows 95.
11. If Windows 95 does not detect the adapter card, select My
Computer, Control Panel, and Add New Hardware. Follow the
prompts to reinstall the Windows 95 driver for the adapter card.
12. If you have other adapter cards to reinstall, go back to step 5.
If Windows 95 does not start (the MS-DOS command prompt
displays), or if the display is corrupted, when booting into Windows 95
Safe Mode or another VGA mode, try the following:
u
Replace Intense 3D 100 with the previous graphics accelerator, or
enable the on-board graphics accelerator.
u
Install the patch contained in the
Intergraph's Internet sites. The
describes how to install the patch.
If the computer only boots into standard VGA resolution (640 x
480, 16 colors), reinstall and configure the Intense 3D 100 driver as
instructed in Chapter 4, "Installing the Software."
