HEIGHT OF CUT SETTING

The height of cut lever is used to raise and lower the cutterdeck to the
desired height of cut.
Move the height of cut lever inwards to disengage it from the height of
cut notches, then push forwards to lower or pull backwards to raise the
height of cut. Release the lever into the required position and ensure
that it locks securely into the appropriate notch. There are six height of
cut positions. These are indicated by the numbered notches, 1 to 6.
IMPORTANT: Always select the height of cut to suit operating con-
ditions. Prevent engine overloading and blockages by avoiding low
cuts in long grass conditions. Be prepared to make two cuts when the
grass is long.
