Dialing a Call

The ACN IRIS 5000 Videophone enables you to make both video and audio-only
telephone calls.

With the Homescreen displayed, use the numeric keypad to enter your
number or optionally:
• Lift the handset and dial number.
• Press the
Speakerphone
• Dial the first 3 digits and use the directional arrow keys to select from an
auto-populated list of previous dialed/received/missed calls.

• The screen displays "Ringing".

If you've made a video call, you will also see yourself displayed on the screen
in an inset.
• Before a call, you can see what you'll look like by selecting
Preview
on the Homescreen. You will see yourself displayed on the
full screen.

If the person you've called answers on an audio-only phone, "Audio Only Call"
displays on the screen.

During a call, you can press
• You can turn on/off your own image by selecting the left
Preview
Soft Key.
You can turn on/off the caller ID and call duration details panel, and the
function keys indicator panel, by selecting the right
Soft Key.
To end a call press the
Call End
mode, or return the handset to the cradle.
