Audio setup

The following jacks, switches and dials
allow you to set the sound to be recorded.
See page 26 on connecting the
microphones.
External audio jacks and switches
INPUT 1 jack A
INPUT 2 jack B
INPUT 1 switch C
INPUT 2 switch G

CH1 (INT MIC/INPUT 1) switch D
CH2 (INT MIC/INPUT 1/INPUT 2) switch
H
Audio level controls
CH1 (AUTO/MAN) switch E
CH2 (AUTO/MAN) switch I
AUDIO LEVEL (CH1) dial F
AUDIO LEVEL (CH2) dial J

Using the internal microphone

The sound will be recorded in stereo when
using the internal microphone.
Set the CH1 (INT MIC/INPUT1) and
CH2 (INT MIC/INPUT1/INPUT2)
switches to INT MIC.
z Tips
• If the recording sound is small, set [INT MIC
SENS] (p. 93) to [HIGH].
• To reduce the wind roar, set [INT MIC WIND]
(p. 93) to [ON].
Recording sound via the
supplied microphone
The sound will be recorded in monaural.

Attach the supplied microphone
(p. 26) and connect it to the INPUT
1 jack A.

Set the CH1 (INT MIC/INPUT 1) D
and CH2 (INT MIC/INPUT 1/INPUT
2) H switches to INPUT 1.
The same sound will be recorded on
both CH1 and CH2.

Set the INPUT 1 switch C to
MIC+48V.
