    Do not allow residues of sugary foods (such as jam) to set inside the oven. If left to set for too long, they might damage the enamel lining of the oven. Do not use plastic kitchenware or containers. The high temperatures inside the oven could melt the plastic, damaging the appliance.

    Do not cover the bottom of the oven with aluminium or tin foil sheets during cooking and do not place pans or trays on it to avoid damage to the enamelled surface.

    If a crack forms on the the glass ceramic cooking surface, turn off the appliance immediately and contact the technical assistance centre. Never put inflammable objects in the oven: they could be accidentally ignited and cause fires.

  • Page 8 3 Thermostat indicator light The indicator light comes on to indicate that the oven is heating up. When this light goes out, the preset heating temperature has been reached. When the light flashes regularly, it means that the temperature inside the oven is kept steady on the set level.
  • Page 9 Instructions for the user 5 Cooking zones control knob Individual zone heating The circle next to each knob indicates the cooking position that will be put into operation. Heating is adjusted pressing and turning the knob to the required position between 1 and 9. The adjustment is gradual so all the intermediate zones can be used.

    Instructions for the user 5. AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES NOTE: Some models are not provided with all accessories. Wide rack: useful holding cooking containers. It can be placed on top of a tray for cooking foods which may drip. Narrow rack: useful for cooking small sized food, such as meat.
  • Page 11 To remove the rack or tray, lift the front slightly. The mechanical lock (or the extension piece where present) must always face the back of the oven. Gently insert racks and trays into the oven until they come to a stop.
  • Page 12 Instructions for the user Using the rotisserie rod Keep the oven door closed during cooking. Use the clip forks provided to prepare the rotisserie rod with the food. The clip forks can be tightened using the fastening screws. Place the rotisserie supports into the inserts at the corners of the tray.
  • Page 13 Pour a little water in the drip tray to prevent smoke from forming. Regular flashing of the thermostat indicator light during cooking is normal and indicates that the temperature inside the oven is being maintained constant.

    Instructions for the user 6. USING THE COOKING HOB Before using the appliance Metal objects such as cutlery or lids must not be placed on the hob surface as they can become very hot. Before using the hob for the first time, pre-heat it to the maximum temperature long enough to burn any manufacturing oily residues which could give the food unpleasant odours.
  • Page 15 Instructions for the user To obtain better results and save energy, only use containers suitable for cooking on electric cookers. • The base of the containers must be thick and completely flat. Before placing a container on the hob, check that both hob and container are completely clean and dry.
  • Page 16 Instructions for the user KNOB FOOD TYPE POSITION To melt butter, chocolate or similar products. To heat food, keep small amounts of water on the boil, and whip up sauces with egg yolk or butter. To heat solid or liquid food, keep water on the boil, thaw deep- frozen food, cook omelettes of 2 or 3 eggs, fruit and vegetables, various cooking operations.

    It provides storage space for the appliance’s metal accessories and must not be used to store flammable materials, cloths, paper etc. Do not open the storage compartment when the oven is on and still hot. The temperatures inside it may be very high.
  • Page 18 During cooking, do not cover the bottom of the oven with aluminium or tin foil and do not place pans or oven trays on it as this may damage the enamel coating. If you wish to use greaseproof paper, place it so that it will not interfere with the hot air circulation inside the oven.

  • Page 20 At the end of the countdown the oven must be stopped manually by turning the thermostat knob and the function selector knob to 0. It is not possible to set a cooking time of more than 4 hours.
  • Page 21 The time can also be reset by deleting the program selected: Press the central key for 2 seconds to cancel the set time and the oven will have to be manually switched off if the cooking operation is in progress.

    Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth or a microfibre cloth. Do not allow residues of sugary foods (such as jam) to set inside the oven. If left to set for too long, they might damage the enamel lining of the oven.
  • Page 31 Never use abrasive or corrosive detergents (e.g. cleaning powders, oven sprays, spot-removers and wire sponges). Dirt which may have fallen on the hob while cleaning lettuce or potatoes can scratch the hob when moving saucepans.
  • Page 32 Instructions for the user Cleaning the oven For the best oven upkeep, clean it regularly after having allowed it to cool. Take out all removable parts. • Clean the oven racks with warm water and non-abrasive detergent. Rinse and dry.
  • Page 33 Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents to clean the oven door glass panels (e.g. powder products, spot-removers and wire sponges). Do not use rough or abrasive materials or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven's glass doors since they may scratch the surface.

    Instructions for the installer 11.INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE 11.1 Installing in kitchen units Veneers, adhesives or plastic coatings on adjacent furniture should be temperature-resistant (no less than 90°C). If they are not sufficiently temperature-resistant, they may warp over time. The appliance must be installed by a qualified technician and according to the regulations in force.

Screw or unscrew the bottom part of the foot until the appliance is stable and level on the floor.
