then tap Connect. Once connected, you can use Pocket Inter-
net Explorer to visit Web pages or Inbox to send and receive e-
mail.
Note:
Before you can use Inbox, you need to provide the
information it needs to communicate with the mail server. For
specific instructions, refer to "Inbox: Sending and Receiving
E-mail Messages" on page 3-10.

Connecting to a Network

If you have access to a network, you can send e-mail, access file
servers, view intranet pages, and possibly access the Internet. You
can connect to your network in one of two ways:
• Create a dial-up connection using a RAS (Remote Access
Service) account. Before you can create this dial-up
connection, your network administrator will need to create a
RAS account for you on the network.
If this is the method you want to use, refer to "Creating a Dial-
up Connection to a Network" on page 3-4.
• Connect to the network using an Ethernet PC Card.
If this is the method you want to use, refer to "Creating a Net-
work (Ethernet) Connection" on page 3-5.
