Registering and de-registering handsets

Manual registration:

Gigaset 4000 handsets at the Gigaset
4010/4015 base station
If a handset has already been registered at a different
base station, you must now register it at your base sta-
tion.
Step 1:

Open the menu.

Select the menu item and confirm.

Enter the system PIN and confirm (factory setting:
0000) – e.g.
Step 2:
Press the key on the underside of the base station for
longer than 1 second. The handset is automatically as-
signed to the next available number. If all the numbers
(1-6) are already assigned, then number 6 is overwrit-
ten.
Once it has been successfully registered the handset
reverts to the idle status. The internal number is shown
on the display (e.g. „INT 1").
