Connecting the base station to
a PABX
Some telephone systems do not support the CLIP
function and therefore also do not allow SMS messag-
es to be sent or received.
See the operating instructions for the telephone
system.

Dialling mode and flash time

Step 1: Changing the dialling mode
You only need to change the dialling mode if your PABX
does not operate with preset tone dialling (DTMF dual-
tone multifrequency). Please refer to the operating
instructions for your PABX.
Options:
– Tone dialling (DTMF)
– Dial pulsing (DP)

Step 2: Setting the flash time
Prerequisite: your PABX requires a flash time other
than the preset flash time (to set up a connection to the
telephone network.

PABX.
