Using the Setup Menu
Basic Settings (TV SETUP)
TV SETUP allows necessary setup when the player is installed and it is connected to external
components.
The setups for advanced playback of VIDEO CDs are also available in this main menu.
Default settings are underlined.
TV TYPE
Selects the aspect ratio of the TV to be connected.
4:3
: normal (standard) TV aspect ratio
16:9 : wide screen TV aspect ratio
DISPLAY ASPECT RATIO
LETTER BOX: displays the wide picture with bands displayed on the upper and lower
PAN & SCAN: displays the wide picture on the whole screen with a left and right portion

limited.
