    OPERATION CH-DVD 635S ON / STANDBY ON / STANDBY Using the remote control You can use the enclosed wireless remote control to control this device. When using the remote control, please aim at the device's remote control sensor, located on the front of the device. A 30 degree angle is recommended for best operation.

    Television connections In order to use your DVD player, you will need to make a video connection to your TV. The capabilities of your TV and the cables you have on hand will deter- mine the connections you can use. There are four possible connection types: Composite video - The most widely used connection.

    The Dolby Digital/dts 5.1 channel analogue outputs can be connected to Dolby Digital/dts capable receivers, amplifiers or active speaker systems. When you use the 5.1 channel outputs, you are taking advantage of the DVD player's built- in Dolby Digital/dts decoder, which decodes the Dolby Digital/dts 5.1 soundtrack on DVD discs to six separate analogue signals.

If so, please take care to press the button “STANDBY” on the remote control or “ON/STANDBY” on the front panel at first in order to make sure that the memory function is still enabled after switch- ing the device on again.

    The most common connection for coloured video pictures that uses a single RCA cable. The DVD player releases its sound information bit by bit through the digital out- put. The way the sound will stream out of the socket must be adjusted in the OSD menu.
