Incompatible disks
This player is incompatible with CD-ROM, Photo CD, CD-Extra, CDi , and DVD-ROM (data) disks.
However, some DVD players are able to play DVD-R (DVD recordable) disks, for example, a player
that uses a 2X speed DVD-ROM drive or a specific loader manufacturer.
Copy protection
This product features a copy protection function developed Macrovision. Copy protection signals
are recorded on some disks. When the user records and plays the picture on these disks using a video
deck, the picture noise will appear.
This product incorporates copyright protection technology that is protected by U.S. patents and other
intellectual property rights. Use of this copyright protection technology must be authorized by
Macrovision , and is intended for home and other limited pay-per-view uses only unless otherwise
authorized by Macrovision. Reverse engineering or disassembly is prohibited.

Getting Started

Unpacking
After unpacking the unit, insert the batteries into the remote.
Inserting batteries into the remote
Users control the player with the supplied remote control. Insert batteries by matching (+) and ( - )
polarities. When using the remote, point it at the remote sensor on the player.
When to replace batteries
With normal use, the batteries should last for about six months. When the remote no longer operates
the player, replace all the batteries with new ones.
Remote the battery cover
Notes
Do not leave the remote in an extremely hot or humid place.

Do not drop any foreign object into the remote casing, particularly when replacing the batteries.
