This applies to both sides of double sided discs. Cleaning of Discs: Finger prints or stains on the surface of the disc may cause signal loss.

    Preparing and Using the Remote Control Installing the Batteries If the remote control only operates when you get closer to the DVD Player, it may mean the batteries are weak. Please replace the two batteries simultaneously with two new batteries (Size AAA, R03, 1.5V) of the same type. Please note the positive (+) and negative (-) polarity shown inside the battery compartment on the remote.
