Setting the genlock loop-through switch

Matrox Multi features genlock loop-through that lets you use the REF OUT
connector to daisy chain the external genlock reference input (connected to REF
IN) to another device's reference input. Before installing the Multi card in your
system, set the genlock loop-through switch located on the Matrox Multi card to
either enable genlock loop-through, or disable loop-through by terminating the
reference signal.
If you will connect an external genlock source to Multi's REF IN connector, and
you plan on using the REF OUT connector, set the genlock switch to HI-Z . If the
REF OUT connector will not be used, set the switch to 75Ω to terminate the
reference signal.
¦ Note
If the genlock switch is set to HI-Z , you can still terminate the reference
signal by connecting a BNC 75Ω terminator to the REF OUT connector.
