For completeinformationin regard to the installation of wall cabinetsabove the range and clearancesto combustible wall above the cooking
topsee the installation drawings. For SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS do not installa rangein any combustible cabinetrywhich is notin accord with
the installation drawings.
* NOTE: 3 0 inch(76.2 cm) dimension between cooking top and wall cabinetshown on illustration doesnot apply to rangeswith an elevated
ovenor microwave. T he installationinstructions of the elevatedovenwill specify the minimum acceptable dimension between the cooktop
and elevated oven.The30 inch(76.2cm)dimension may be reducedto notlessthan 24 inches(61 cm)when the wall cabinetsin a domestic
home are protectedwith fireproof materials in accordancewith American NationalStandards - National Fuel GasCode or in mobilehomes
when they are protectedwith fireproofmaterialsin accordance with the Federal Standardfor MobileHomeConstruction and Safety.
Toeliminatethe risk ofburns or fire by reachingover heated surface units, cabinetstorage space locatedabove the surface units should be
avoided. If cabinetstorage is to be provided, t he risk can be reducedby installinga rangehood that projectshorizontally a minimumof 5
inches(t 3 cm)beyondthe bottom of the cabinets
