Idle Speed - Honda ST1100 1996+ Owner's Manual

CAUTION:
The spark plugs must be securely tightened. An improperly tightened plug can become

very hot and possibly damage the engine.
Never use a spark plug with an improper heat range. Severe engine damage could

result.
When installing body parts, do not pinch any cables or wires.


IDLE SPEED

Refer to Maintenance Precautions on. The engine must be at normal operating temperature for
accurate idle speed adjustment. Ten minutes of stop-and-go riding is sufficient.
