2. Charge the battery as required. Install the battery.
3. Drain any excess aerosol rust-inhibiting oil from the fuel tank. Fill the fuel tank with
fresh petrol.
4. Check the final drive oil, adding the recommended gear oil if necessary. Change the
final drive oil, if necessary, as specified by the Maintenance Schedule. Perform all
Pre-ride Inspection checks. Test ride the motorcycle at low speeds in a safe riding area
away from traffic.
