The lists below explains the use of the buttons and keys on the
Cordless telephone.
Key
volume up and
volume down

Function
Earpiece volume louder/quieter.
Make a call, answer a call or transfer a call.
Confirm a menu option.
During call: Microphone off.
While entering text or a number: Delete last letter or
digit, delete whole line if held longer.
If the Cordless telephone rings: Mute sound. In stand-by
mode mute ringer and warning sound permanently.
Cancel a menu option: Cordless telephone goes on
stand-by.
If held for 1 second: Switch Cordless telephone on.
If held for 1 second during stand-by: Switch Cordless
telephone off.
If the Cordless telephone rings: Mute sound.
End a call.
Cancel a menu option.
Start menu.
Scroll through menu options or lists.
While entering text or number: Move one character
position, move to end or beginning if held longer.
During an internal or external call: Transfer a call (if
supported).
In idle state: When the Voice message icon appears in
your display you can immediately enter your message
system by pressing this key.
Change case of previous and subsequent letters while
entering text.
If held for 1 second: Insert dial tone pause (-) while
entering a phone number.
Activate or deactivate the handsfree speaking mode.
Press twice to insert an asterisk (*) when editing a
name.
