This chapter describes the procedures for installing the
MegaRAID 320-1, -2, -2X, and -4X storage adapters. It contains the
following sections:

Section 2.2, "Quick Installation," page 2-2
Section 2.3, "Detailed Installation," page 2-2
Section 2.4, "After You Have Installed the Storage Adapter," page 2-7
The following items are required to install a MegaRAID 320 storage
adapter:
A MegaRAID 320-1, -2, -2X, or -4X storage adapter
A host computer with an available 32- or 64-bit, 3.3 V PCI or PCI-X
expansion slot
The Universal Driver Suite CD
The necessary internal and/or external SCSI cables
Ultra, Ultra2, Ultra160, or Ultra320 SCSI hard disk drives (although
backward compatible, SCSI uses the speed of the slowest device on
the bus)
LSI Logic strongly recommends using an uninterruptible power supply
(UPS).
