OPERATION

Riding your scooter

NOTE: After starting, allow the engine oil to circulate be-
fore riding your scooter. Allow sufficient idling time after
warm or cold engine start-up before applying load or rev-
ving the engine. This allows time for the lubricating oil to
reach all the critical engine components.
NOTE: Review the scooter safety recommendations on
pages 2 through 6
before you ride.
You and your passenger should always wear appropriate
safety apparel such as a helmet, eye protection, gloves
and other protective clothing each time you ride the scooter.
Never wear any items that will adversely affect your safety.
Make sure flammable materials such as dry grass or
leaves do not come into contact with the exhaust sys-
tem when riding, idling, or parking your scooter.
Keep your finger away from the starter button while the
engine is running. You can damage the engine or the
starter mechanism if you engage the starter motor when
the engine is running.
