OPERATION
1. Verify that the brake fluid level is between the "L" mark and
the "F" mark in the brake fluid reservoir window 7. See
the MAINTENANCE section of this Owner's Manual for ad-
ditional information about the front brake fluid.

Brake fluid can damage paint and plastic, so handle the
brake fluid with care. When adding brake fluid, be sure
that the reservoir is horizontal before removing the cover
so you will not spill fluid onto the scooter.

2. Visually inspect the front brake pads on your scooter for
wear. Each pad's surface has grooves 8 that will indicate
the amount of life left in each pad. If the grooves are visible,
there is adequate brake pad material. If the grooves are no
longer visible, or their depth is severely reduced, the pads
require replacement.
