MEDIAMASTER INSTALLATION

General information

There are several types of TV sets or videorecorders and other
devices which may be connected to Mediamaster.
This manual is intended to show some of the commonest ways
of connecting one's own equipment.
If RF cables are in use, it will be necessary to tune the TV set and
the videorecorder to the Mediamaster output channel (see page 11).
If you should have difficulty in connecting, apply to your own
retailer for support.

Connection to the TV set

• Connect a SCART cable to the main SCART socket on the TV
set and to the TV SCART plug on Mediamaster.
• Connect an RF cable between the TV/VCR output on
Mediamaster and the RF input on the TV set.
• Connect the TV antenna to the
input on Mediamaster.
Connection of the TV set and videorecorder
by means of SCART connectors
For complete instructions refer to the videorecorder manual.
• Connect a SCART cable to the main SCART socket on the
TV set and to the TV SCART socket on Mediamaster.
• Connect another SCART cable to the videorecorder
and to the AUX SCART socket on Mediamaster.
• Connect an RF cable between the RF output on the
videorecorder and the TV ANTENNA input on the TV set.
• Connect the TV antenna to RF input
on the videorecorder.
If the SCART plug is available on the TV set, but not o
the videocorder.
• Connect a SCART cable to the main SCART socket on the
TV set and to the TV SCART plug on Mediamaster.
• Connect an RF cable between the RF output
on the videorecorder and the TV antenna
input on the TV set.
• Connect an RF cable between the TV/VCR
output on Mediamaster and the RF input on the
videorecorder.
• Connect the TV antenna to the ANTENNA TERRESTRIAL
TV input on Mediamaster.
