Mediamaster update
To update the Mediamaster, you may download new releases of
the system software via satellite from the TELE
channels. The new software's may either include new functions
or improve the existing ones.
Select a channel of the TELE
Select the RECEIVER UPDATE (PERS – 7 – 2) menu to check
whether there is a new software.
A yellow window will appear to display the message "Do you
want to update the software?"
Press OK to confirm.
Press A to go back.
Press OK to start searching for a new software. The AUTO
UPDATE message will appear on the Mediamaster display.
The update process will take about 5 minutes. It will occur after
having blanked the TV screen. At the end of the update process,
Mediamaster will move to the channel you have selected before.
If the UPDATE ERROR message should appear on the display
some seconds after the update has been started, it means that
no new software release is available at that time.
Attention: While updating NEVER act on the keys of the remote
control and front panel. NEVER remove the mains plug from the
power outlet.
Checking the software release
Select the SOFTWARE RELEASE (PERS – 7 – 3) menu to check
the release installed in the Mediamaster. A green window will
appear on the screen and show the software release and the
manufacturer name. The Update manufacturer and Update
software items are not active for this model.
Press A to go back or press EXIT to quit.
