Weather
The Weather application displays the weather
data for specified cities provided by The
Weather Channel Interactive, Inc.
WARNING
• For safety reasons, do not perform any
operations while driving.
Doing so can take your mind off the road
and create the risk of a traffic accident.
Always stop your vehicle in a safe place
before operating the unit.

Displaying the Weather Information

On the Home screen, tap the [Weather] key.
This starts up the Weather application and
displays a detail screen that shows five
days of weather information.
NOTE
Tap
to display the detail of the weather
information (Hourly, 36 hours, or 10 days) of
the currently selected city. (Mobile mode only)

Registering Cities to Display Keys
Use the procedure below to register cities that
appear as keys at the bottom of the detail
screen. You can register up to four cities.
After you register a city to a display key, you can
view weather information for that city simply by
tapping its key.

On the weather information detail screen,
tap the [Location] key.
This displays a history list of past
registered cities.

Tap the [New Location] key.
This displays a software keyboard.

Enter the city name or Zip code.
This displays a list of search results.

Tap the name of the city you want to add.
This causes the check box next to the city
name to become selected.

Tap

This returns to the city list screen, with the
new city name added at the bottom.

On the list, select the city name and then
tap
.
This returns to the detail screen, which now
shows a key with the city name you
registered.
NOTE
While the city history list is displayed, the unit
of the temperatures displayed in the weather
information can be changed by tapping
