Language

Use the Language settings to specify the display
language and the keyboard layout.

On the Control Panel, tap the [Language]
key.
This displays the Language screen.
The following describes the functions of the keys
on the screen.
Language Specifies the display language.
Tap the Language display area to
display a list of languages, and
then select the one you want.
Keyboard Specifies the keyboard layout.
Tap the Keyboard display area to
display a list of keyboard layouts,
and then select the one you want.
Saves the settings and exits the
setting screen. The unit will restart
at this time if you changed the
language setting.
NOTE
Changing the Navigation and Contacts
language settings require a separate
procedure executed in the Navigation
application. For details, see 6-6-4 Language
Settings (P. 102).

You can use the following procedure to
customize the quick information keys that
appear on the Mobile Mode Home Screen.

On the Control Panel, tap the [Mobile Mode
Home Screen] key.
This displays the Mobile Mode Home
Screen.

Tap A, B, or C and then select the
application you want to assign there.

Tap .
The unit will restart after changing the
setting.
NOTE
The factory default settings for the quick
information keys are A: News, B: Weather, and
C: MySpace.
