Editing Text

Use the following procedure to correct, cut,
copy, move, and delete input text, and to
perform other editing operations.

On the Note Pad menu, tap [Edit].
The following describes the functions of the Edit
menu.
Undo Undoes the previous editing
operation.
Redo Re-does an editing operation.
Cut Cuts the selected text and stores it
in memory.
Copy Copies the selected text to
memory.
Paste Pastes previously cut or copied
text into a specified location.
Delete Deletes the selected text.
Select All Selects all the text.

Changing the Display View

On the Note Pad menu, tap [View] - [Full
Screen].
This switches to the full-screen view.
NOTE
To exit the full-screen view, touch the control
key to display the control bar. Next, on the
Application menu, tap [View] - [Full Screen].

Performing Text Find/Replace
Use the following procedure to search and
replace text, and to jump to a specific location in
the document.

On the Note Pad menu, tap [Search].
The following describes the functions of the
Search menu.
Find... Searches a document for text.
Selecting the [Match case]
check box on the find screen
searches the document only for
text whose upper/lower case
matches that of the search text.
Find Next Searches for the next instance
of the search text in the
document.
Find Previous Searches for the previous
instance of the search text in
the document.
Replace... Replaces found search text with
different text. Selecting the
[Match case] check box on the
replace screen replaces only
text whose upper/lower case
matches that of the search text.
Selecting the [Replace all at
once] check box performs the
find and replace operation
without asking.
Jump To... Jumps to a specific line number
in the document.
