Chapter 5 Applications
Edit menu
Use the item on this menu to edit text on the
currently displayed web page.
Enable Edit The following commands are
Mode available by selecting it: [Cut],
[Copy], [Paste], [Select All]. [Find],
[Find Next], [Find Previous] also
are available.
View menu
Use the items on this menu to configure
Browser display settings.
Encoding Configures encoding (language
and character set) display
settings.
Full Screen Displays the Browser in
full-screen view. To exit the
full-screen view, select the
Application menu on the control
bar and then select [View] - [Full
Screen].
NOTE
• You also can toggle full-screen view on and
off by tapping and holding a location on the
screen for at least two seconds.
• Tapping and holding a location on a Flash
movie (YouTube, etc.) or Flash menu (moving
menu) for more than two seconds may not
switch to the full-screen view.
• Performing a Flash menu or other moving
menu operation while a movie or audio file is
playing on the Browser can cause dropping of
movie frames or skipping of audio. Performing
an operation while another application is
running can cause screen refreshing or
response of other operations to slow down.

Navigation menu
Use the items on this menu to perform the same
functions as those on the toolbar or more
detailed processes.
Next Tab Selects the next tab to the right.
Previous Tab Selects the next tab to the left.
Back, Forward, These have the same functions
Reload, Stop, as their corresponding toolbar.
Home
Bookmarks Creates, edits, and deletes
bookmarks.
History Searches through and delete
history items.
Tools menu
The items on this menu configure general
Browser settings.
Setting... Configures the initial startup
screen, disk cache size, and suffix
settings.
Enable Enables JavaScript.
Javascript
Popup Configures settings for enabling
Window popups.
Manager
Download Turns off the detailed display while
Details downloading files.
NOTE
• Popup windows (windows that are displayed
automatically without permission) cannot be
allowed with the unit browser.
• To permit popup windows, use Popup Window
Manager to add the URL of the site whose
popup windows you want to allow.
• The default URL setting for popup windows is
"clarion.com".
Offline menu
Disconnects from the Internet.
