To Emergency Eject a Cartridge

Do not emergency eject a RDX cartridge while the cartridge activity indicator is
flashing.
Note
If the cartridge does not eject, using either the eject button or the right-click eject methods then use
the following emergency eject hole method to recover the cartridge:

Insert a straightened paper clip into the Emergency Eject Hole (see
Cartridge).

When the cartridge has been ejected by the unit, grasp the exposed sides of the cartridge and pull
the cartridge straight out (see
Figure 7. Unloading the
