Processors The X9DRT-HIBQF/HIBFF/HF supports single or dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series processors (Socket R LGA 2011). The X9DRT-HIBQF/HIBFF/HF features an integrated Matrox G200eW Video Controller. Inﬁ niBand The 6027TR-H70QRF server include a QDR (quad data rate) speed Inﬁ niBand QSFP connector. The 6027TR-H70FRF server includes a FDR (fourteen data rate) speed Inﬁ niBand QSFP connector. Inﬁ niBand is a scalable serial communications link intended for connecting processors with high-speed peripherals.

SC827HQ-R1620B chassis includes four front panels on the handles of the chassis which control each of the systems. Each control panel on the SUPERSERVER 6027TR-H70QRF/H70FRF/H70RF provides you with system monitoring and control for one server node. LEDs indicate system power, HDD activity, network activity, system overheat and power supply failure.

Chapter 1: Introduction Air Shrouds The SC827 chassis includes four plastic air shrouds that direct the airﬂ ow where cooling is needed on each serverboard. Particular attention should be given to power supply connections other than the direct connections to the branch circuit (i.e. the use of power strips, etc.).

Each assembly consists of two sections: an inner ﬁ xed chassis rail that secures directly to the server chassis and an outer ﬁ xed rack rail that secures directly to the rack itself (Figure 2-1).

The inner rails are pre-attached to the chassis, and do not interfere with normal use of the chassis if you decide not to use a server rack. The inner rail extension is attached to the inner rail to mount the chassis in the rack.

Turning off system power with this button removes the main power, but keeps standby power supplied to the system.

Connecting Data Cables The cables used to transfer data from the peripheral devices have been carefully routed in preconﬁ gured systems to prevent them from blocking the ﬂ ow of cooling air that moves through the system from front to back.
