Cancelling Direct-To Navigation

Once a direct-to is activated, the 400W-series will
provide navigation guidance to the selected destination
until the direct-to is replaced with a new direct-to or
flight plan, cancelled, or the unit is turned off.
To cancel a direct-to:
Press the direct-to key to display the select

direct-to waypoint page.
2.
Press MENU to display the direct-to options
menu.
3.
With "Cancel Direct-To NAV?" highlighted,
press ENT. If a flight plan is still active, the
400W-series will resume navigating the flight
plan along the closest leg.

Specifying a Course to a Waypoint

Whenever you perform a direct-to, the 400W-
series will set a direct geodesic course to your selected
destination. You can also manually define the course to
your destination, using the "CRS" course field on the
select direct-to waypoint page.
To manually define the direct-to course:
Press the direct-to key.

Use the small and large right knobs to select
the destination waypoint.
Press ENT to confirm the selected waypoint,

then turn the large right knob to highlight
the course ("CRS") field.
4.
Turn the small and large right knobs to select
the desired course and press ENT.
5.
Press ENT again to begin navigation using the
selected destination and course.
6.
To reselect a direct course from present posi-
tion (or select a new manually-defined course),
simply press direct-to, followed by ENT
twice.
