---- MEMORY BAcK-UP: The Prodigy has memory
back-up, so when you turn the unit off, it keeps the
parameters that you programmed into memory. To memorize
these new parameters, press and hold the MEMORY button
for two seconds, you will see SAVING flashing at the top of
LCD display. Once this message disappears, CUE points,
and the last mode (i.e. PITCH ON/OFF, PITCH %, SGL/CTN,
AUTO CUE, time mode, MASTER TEMPO, EFFECTS ON/
OFF, Sleep/Stop/Run time) are now saved (graphic #8).
---- MEMORIZE and REcALL cUE MEMORY. Your Prodigy
comes with memory storage. You can keep CUE points as-
signed to the 3 memory banks in the CD players' memory
even after the CDs are ejected. To commit CUE points to
memory, press and hold the memory button for 2 seconds
before ejecting the CD. You will see SAVING flashing at the
top of the display. Once this message disappears, the CUE
points are saved and they will be kept in CD player's mem-
ory even after CD was ejected. When you put a new CD in
the player, you can memorize a new CUE points for this CD
as well. When you want to play the first CD again, recall its
memorized CUE points by momentarily pressing the MEM-
ORY button before inserting that specific CD into the player.
You will see a RECALL message on the display and then a
READING message. All your memorized settings and CUE
points can be now recalled from memory and ready to use.
• NOTE: It is the same procedure as MEMORY
BACK-UP above, so in addition to memorizing CUE points
it also MEMORIZEs current settings.
• NOTE: You can memorize about 1500 total CUEs
depending on the size of your unit's memory, 500 per
bank. Once there is no space left in memory, you can still
memorize new CUEs and settings for new CDs but data
for oldest memorized CDs will be overwritten in the same
sequence as it was recorded.
• TIP: You can erase the memory completely using
the MASTER RESET procedure.
---- REcALL FIRMWARE VERSION. You can check the firmware
version of your CD player by pressing and holding
the SCRATCH and TIME buttons together for 15 seconds.
