Telephone operation

Ringer volume

When the telephone is idle, press VOLUME to set the
ringer volume to L0 - L8. When set to L0 to turn the
ringer off, the screen shows
The volume of the priority call tone cannot be adjusted. Refer to Priority
•
call on page 49 for details.
• If you have reached the highest or lowest setting when you press
VOLUME, the telephone beeps three times.
• If the telephone is without AC power, the ringer volume automatically resets
to L5.

Handset volume

While using the handset, press VOLUME to set the
handset listening volume to L1, L2, L3, or L4.
• If the telephone is without AC power, the handset listening volume
automatically resets to L1.
• If you have reached the highest or lowest setting when you press
VOLUME, the telephone beeps three times.

Speakerphone volume

While using the speakerphone, press VOLUME to set
the speakerphone listening volume to L1 - L6.
• After a power outage, once the phone regains power, the speakerphone
listening volume automatically resets to L1.
• If you have reached the highest or lowest setting when you press
VOLUME, the telephone beeps three times.
