Telephone settings

Set local area code

You can program up to four local area codes. A local area code is an area
code that must be dialed with the telephone number, even though you are
making a local call.
For calls outside your area:

Calls within your local
calling area
If you dial 10 digits (area code + telephone number) for calls within your own area
Press MENU repeatedly until the screen shows LOCAL AREA CODE.

Use the dial pad keys (0 through 9) to enter three

digits of the first local area code in LAC 1. Use

to move to the next or previous digit. Press

SELECT repeatedly to advance to the next local area
code (LAC 2, LAC 3 or LAC 4).

Press SELECT or MENU to save your setting and move to the next option
when you have finished entering local area codes.
If you do not need to program local area codes, press SELECT repeatedly until
the DIAL TYPE screen appears, or press FLASH to return to the idle screen.

Set remote code

You can program a remote code to allow remote access from another
telephone away from your home or office.
Press MENU repeatedly until the screen shows
