You want to arm the system, but a zone cannot be secured, or you wish to intentionally leave a perimeter door open. These
"faulted" or open zone(s), may be temporarily removed from the system or "bypassed". Warning: Bypassed zones are unpro-
tected--always have the system checked and repaired as soon as possible. The following is a bypassing overview.

With the window or door perimeter zone open or "faulted" (excluding the primary exit/entry door--see
warning on page 14), the zone description of this open zone will appear in the Touchpad LCD window.
Press the BYPASS button to enter a special Bypass
Menu. The first Menu item is "DISPLAY ZN DIRECTORY
Y/N".
Press YES to list all zones in your system. Follow the voice prompts. The Bypass icon will ap-
pear for each bypassed zone listed. Go to step 3.
Press NO or MENU to scroll to the next Bypass Menu selection "BYPASS ALL OPEN ZONES Y/
N", allowing you to bypass all zones currently open (excluding the primary exit/entry door).
Press NO or MENU and the Bypass Menu repeats.
With "DISPLAY ZN DIRECTORY Y/N" in the LCD window, press YES to list all zones in your sys-
tem. Scroll forward or backward through the zone list using the YES
menu repeats or "loops"). As you scroll through each zone, the Bypass or Trouble icons will ap-
pear (or not appear) depending on the status of each zone. When the zone that you wish to by-
pass appears on the Touchpad LCD window, press BYPASS. The Bypass icon will appear.
Press RESET to continue.
With the selected perimeter zone now bypassed, you can now proceed with either arming Stay or
Away, as desired. Press STAY or AWAY, then lock the deadbolt to arm the system with the
faulted zone(s) bypassed.
