You want to arm and leave the premises, but wish to intentionally leave a window open. Or perhaps a door deadbolt is bro-
ken and is unable to be quickly repaired and locked. These "faulted" zone(s), may be temporarily removed from the system
("bypassed"). Warning: Bypassed zones are unprotected--have the system checked and repaired as soon as possible.

Press the BYPASS button. The LCD window will read
BYPASS
"DISPLAY ZN DIRECTORY Y/N".

YES
Press NO and the next menu selection "BYPASS ALL OPEN ZONES Y/N" appears. Press YES to bypass
all open perimeter zones (excluding the primary exit/entry door).
NO

BYPASS
SYSTEM READY
Press AWAY, open the door and exit.

Lock the deadbolt to arm the system with the faulted
zone(s) bypassed.
indicate the system is armed.
Warning: Bypassed zones are unprotected--have the system checked and repaired as soon as possible.
Note: If you lose your deadbolt key, see page 24 for activating a special "Lost Key Mode".
The Touchpad will sound one chirp to
"Display Zone Directory?"
Press YES to select or
MENU to skip"
"Exit and lock door
to arm system"
