2 Installing the Cable Management Brackets

Use the following procedure to install the Cisco SFS 7012D InfiniBand Interconnect Cable
Management Brackets.
The location of the bracket depends on the rack position occupied by the Cisco SFS 7012D
InfiniBand Interconnect. The Cisco SFS 7012D InfiniBand Interconnect used in an HP Cluster
Platform solutions are installed in the lower "U" locations of an HP 10K G2 Series Rack.
1. Determine the cable management bracket installation locations by aligning the cable
management bracket's cable channels with the rows of ports on the rear of the Cisco SFS
7012D InfiniBand Interconnect. Each of the cable management bracket's channels must line
up with the six rows of ports on the back of the Cisco SFS 7012D Series InfiniBand
Interconnect. The cable management brackets (callout 3 in
