6 Connect the adapter cable to the scanner's option
connector.
7 Plug in the scanner and turn it on, wait 5 seconds, and then
turn on the printer.
8 At the printer control panel, enable the Transparency Option
in the Copy menu:
a Press the printer's Select/Copy key.
b Press the Next key until Copy Mode appears in the message
window, then press the Select key.
c Press the Next key until Transparency Opt appears in the
message window, then press the Select key.
d Press the Next key until Enabled appears in the message
window, then press the Select key.
e Press the Online/Offline key to exit the menu.
