Select whether a single-sided or double-sided
document is to be scanned.

To select the Simplex/Duplex setting

In the Scan mode screen, touch [Scan
Settings].
The Scan Settings screen appears.

Select this setting to scan a single-sided
document.
Select this setting to scan a double-sided
document.
Select this setting to scan a document where
the first page is single-sided and the
remaining pages are double-sided.
