Specifying a recipient

Detail
Destinations must first be registered in Utility mode. For
details on registering destinations, refer to the User's
Guide [Network Scanner Operations].
The scan data can be sent in any of the following ways.
Operation
Scan to E-Mail
Scan to FTP
Scan to SMB
The procedure for specifying the destination where
scan data is to be sent is described below.
cm4520
Description
The scan data can be sent as an attached file
to the specified e-mail address.
A network environment that includes an FTP
server can be used.
The scan data is sent to a folder specified on
the FTP server on the network.
This is suitable for transmitting large-sized
data, such as high-resolution data.
If there are limitations on the document name
due to the destination server conditions, it
may not be possible to send the
transmission.
Contact your network administrator for
details on file names for data that can be sent
before specifying the document name.
The scan data is sent directly to a specific
computer on the network.
In order to perform a Scan to SMB operation,
first specify shared file settings in Windows
on the computer receiving the data.
