Setting the Spool Pin
Insert the spool pin into the hole as shown.

• Setting the spool
Place a spool of thread on the spool pin with the thread
coming off the spool as illustrated.
A: Press the large spool holder _i_ firmly against the spool
of thread.

B: For a small spool, use the small spool holder _2_.

• Removing the bobbin
Eli Push the hook cover plate release button _i_to the right
and remove the cover plate.

[12J L ift out the bobbin.
