Mac OS X - Canceling a Print Job from the Computer

Start Print Center.

Select the name of the job you want to cancel.

Click the Pause icon, and then click the Trash icon.
Note
❒ If the printer is shared by multiple computers, be careful not to cancel a
print job of other user.
❒ You cannot stop printing data that has already been processed. For this
reason, printing may continue for a few pages after you cancel printing.
❒ To stop a large data size print job may takes a while.
Using USB Interface
Follow the procedure below to setup USB connection.

Start Printer Setup Utility.

Click [Add].
• Mac OS X 10.4 or higher
Click a printer that has "USB" indicated in the "Connection" column.
• Other Mac OS X
Click [USB] on the pop-up menu.
The connected printer appears.

Select the printer, and then select its manufacturer from the [Printer Model:]
pop-up menu.
Under Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, select the manufacturer from the [Print Using]
pop-up menu.
A list of printer types appears.
D
Select the connected printer from the list of printer models, and then click
[Add].
E
Quit Printer Setup Utility.

❒ USB 2.0 can be used only with Mac OS X 10.3.3 or higher.
