Preparing for Printing

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
If the [Printer Drivers and Utilities] dialog box appears, click [Cancel].

In the [Install From Disk] dialog box, click [Browse].

Specify the location where the INF file is located, and then click [OK].

In the [Install From Disk] dialog box, check the location of the INF file is dis-
played in the [Copy manufacturer's files from] box, and then click [OK].

Select the printer you want to use, and then click [Next >].

Select [TCP/IP Port Type P9100] from the list of available ports, and then click [Next >].
If necessary, click [Configure Port] to make port settings.

Change the printer name if you want, and then click [Next >].
Select the [Yes] check box to configure the printer as default.

Specify whether or not to print a test page, and then click [Finish].

Restart the computer.

In the [Printers] window, click the icon of the printer you want to use. On
the [File] menu, click [Properties].

Click the [Details] tab, and then click [Port Settings...].
The [TCP/IP Port Type P9100 Configuration] dialog box appears.

Configure the port setting, and then click [OK].

❒ Auto Run may not work with certain operating system settings. If this hap-
pens, launch "Setup.exe" on the CD-ROM root directory.
❒ The printer driver with the selected language will be installed.
❒ To stop installation of the printer driver, click [Cancel] before installation is
complete.
Installing TCP/IP Port Type P9100
Follow the procedure below to install TCP/IP Port Type P9100 on the computer.
A
Quit all applications currently running.
B
Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
The installer starts.

Click [Browse This CD-ROM].

Right-click "Monitor.inf" in PORT, and then click [Install].
