SERVICE TABLES AND PROCEDURES
DEDICATED TRANSMISSION PARAMETERS
If training with a particular remote
terminal always takes too long, the
initial modem rate may be too high.
Reduce the initial Tx modem rate
using these bits.
Note: 12,000 and 14,400 bps speeds
are not available with this machine.
Do not change the settings.
COMMENTS
Do not change the settings.
(0, 1): Use this setting if echoes on the line are
interfering with the set-up protocol at the start of
transmission. The machine will then wait for the
second DIS or NSF before sending DCS or
NSS.
Do not change the settings.
This bit determines the capabilities that are
informed to the other terminal during
transmission.
Example given: If ECM is switched on
undesirably when sending to a particular
terminal, use the setting of (0, 0).
