Procedure (Mac OS X 10.4)

When Using AppleTalk, USB, or Bonjour
NOTE: If you switch the printer on after connecting a USB cable, the printer will be
added automatically to the list. In such case, manually delete the printer from the list,
and add it using the following procedure.
1.
In the [Printer Browser] window, select [Default Browser].
The printers available on the AppleTalk, USB, and Bonjour ports are displayed.

Select the printer you want to use from the list.

Make sure that the printer is selected in [Print Using].
When the printer is not selected, select [FX] in [Print Using]. From the list of model
names, select the PPD file for your printer model.
NOTE: The default printer name for the DocuPrint C3055/C3055 DX when using
AppleTalk is "FXnnnnnn" (where nnnnnn is the last six digits of the printer's MAC
address).
4.
Click [Add].

In the displayed window, set the options installed on the printer and click
[Continue].
NOTE: The option settings can be configured also after adding the printer.
