MAINTENANCE

Externally, the IEQ Chek requires only cleaning with a damp cloth, wiping off the
exterior surface and basic inspection for obvious damage or problems. Internally,
sensors should be maintained because they have a specific life span. As they age,
they must be calibrated (zero and span adjusted) for accuracy. If one or more sensors
do not respond to span gas, check the age of the sensor as they may have expired.
Refer to the sensor replacement and calibration sections of this manual for more
details. Contact the factory for service, to replace expired sensors, or for any other
parts that are required.

IEQ CHEK

IEQ Chek does not communicate with IQ Chek software, following the
recommendations listed below.
Verify the instrument is switched on and has completed its warm-up cycle.
Verify that the IEQ Chek is in the normal display mode indicating all installed
sensors on the LCD.
If the above two functions do not rectify the problem, close IQ Chek and reopen
it. Windows is sometimes slow to recognize certain programs.
