Attaching a Station Number Label

Self-adhesive call-number labels are also delivered with your optiPoint.
Write on the call-number label (fire brigade, police, own telephone num-
bers), then remove and stick it in the recess on the telephone when the
handset is lifted.

Documentation

You can find these operating instructions in the Internet in PDF format at
http://www.siemens.com/hipath
and under Documentation on the HiPath 1200 system CD-ROM (consult
service personnel) in HTML and PDF format.
In order to look at and print the operating instructions in PDF format, you
need a computer on which the free Acrobat Reader software package (by
Adobe) is installed.
To view the operating instructions in HTML format, you need a computer
with a Web browser, e. g. Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Using PC-based Telephony Applications

A PC can be connected using the optiPoint 500 system telephone's (not
optiPoint 500 economy) built-in USB interface and a USB cable.
The TAPI driver on the HiPath 1200 system CD lets you run many of the
telephone applications currently available on the market on your PC.
You can use a PC tool to administer HiPath 1200 while the telephone ap-
plications are running.
