Portal specific SQL Server databases:

portal_name_PROF
Contains user profiles and audiences.

Stores information for services, such as search and alerts,
provided by the portal.

portal_name_SITE
Contains site content information.
Data used by index management server, which builds and updates
indexes, and crawls content.
SQL Server database that stores account credentials. The single
sign-on functionality enables users to retrieve information from
third-party applications without additional sign-on operations.
